Job Description:
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join the GCB MNC team in Latin America based in Sao Paulo covering the subsidiaries of Chinese HQ companies operating throughout Latin America.
We are looking for an exceptional individual with the ability to grow our wallet share with Chinese clients across product areas (Credit products, Capital Markets, FX, Flow derivatives, Commodities, Treasury Services, Asset Management) and across Latin American countries.
Candidate needs to be able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients at all levels in English and Mandarin.
This role reports into the Regional Head of MNC Corporate Banking Latin America.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Build and develop Treasurer/CFO level coverage of subsidiaries of Corporate Bank Chinese clients in Latin America jointly with local MNC corporate bankers
  • Identify new business opportunities, collaborate on deal execution
  • Development forward looking new business plans for clients and the maintenance of existing business relationships
  • Responsible for partnering with HQ parent teams in China to drive and deliver financial goals for GCB and TS Sales for LatAm MNC
  • Develop relationships and dialogue with Chinese clients at HQ level, including educating on JPMorgan's corporate banking products and trends for multi-nationals across LatAm
  • Responsible for partnering with product and GCB coverage partners to market a wide array of products and services (including: traditional credit products, capital markets, FX Flow Derivatives, Commodities, Treasury Services, Escrow, and Asset Management).
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's broad array of corporate banking products across debt capital markets, risk management, treasury services and asset management: Conversion of client analysis into concrete financial solutions
  • Conduct regular cross functional reviews with peers (locally and regionally) to ensure coordinated management of client relationships
  • Ensure a strong Risk & Control framework is maintained with an ongoing focus on adherence to KYC, AML, GFCC, PAD, PEP and Reputation Risk standards,
  • Promote the ongoing needs of the Latin America based MNC clients with local and regional product partners
Solid knowledge of corporate banking products and cash management products
  • Proven ability to build and develop client relationships, win new business, close transactions and develop networks, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to demonstrate credit knowledge
  • Strong commercial judgment
  • Understanding of flow derivatives, FX, commodities, transaction banking
  • Strong influencing skills and proven track record of managing cross cultural environments
  • Strong partnership skills
  • Knowledge and experience with KYC (“Know Your Customer”) processes and risk and control framework
  • Languages:
    • The ability to read, write, and speak English and Mandarin
    • Expected to learn Portuguese
