Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead large, complex, and highly-visible initiatives that have significant financial, reputational or regulatory risk
  • Requires deep and broad subject matter expertise (and the willingness to learn / dive into new content areas) 
  • Provide primary management, leadership, influence and oversight to ensure alignment to strategic roadmap objectives – while building a collaborative environment with business leads, IT, and other partners
  • Assist business units by acting as the digital thought leader for strategic roadmap activities:  turning strategic plans into programs, identifying project framework, defining resource needs, and navigating demand / resourcing processes
  • Direct cross-organizational teams through product lifecycle from ideation thru delivery, including executive approval, program / process management, and quality and timely completion of efforts
  • Execute each program in the strategic portfolio, including quickly escalating key issues/recommendations to Senior management for resolution
  • Identify program-level dependencies, resourcing gaps, key issues and present recommendations for resolution
  • Demonstrate superior judgment to mitigate risk, and fosters an environment where risk/control issues are escalated and trends are anticipated and identified
  • Build a cohesive team through strong communication, team involvement, and strong leadership
  • Communicate effectively with Senior leaders to enable collaboration, decision-making, and transparency
  • 10+ years in product management, digital transformation, or related experience
  • Prior experience in financial services industry preferred; Consumer Banking a plus
  • Experience managing new product launches / transformation efforts
  • Experience managing complex business demand processes, technical programs, and third parties
  • Strong executive presence; comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
  • Strong ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written)
  • Strong influencing and partnership / collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams
  • Ability to productively work in a matrix management organization
  • Bachelor’s degree required with strong academic credentials
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and inspiring leadership skills a must
  • Comfortable with leading change management
  • Travel requirement:  approximately 25%
