Job details
  • 6 + years' experience User acceptance testing with Financial domain experience
  • A strong hands-on ability to conduct end to end testing process throughout the entire SDLC from test planning, test design, test execution, and test reporting.
  • Experience on functional, regression, Integration, back end testing, automation testing execution on banking products
  • Should primarily have good experience in testing Essbase Cubes, Reconciliation of data, writing and running complex SQL queries, basic UNIX knowledge.
  • Should be able to perform Test Analysis, Test case preparation and reviews and Test execution.
  • Should be aware of Testing process, SDLC software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on new projects and be able to multi task between different projects as needed
  • Coordinate with teams to write test cases, mentor testers, prepare test environment and test data, execute testing, log and test defects from open to close.
  • Possess strong communication-written and oral.
Job role and responsibility:

  •      To provide UAT support for internal reporting for projects across Finance, Risk, Technology and Operations to deliver the Book of Work for MIS and WCP(whole sale client profitability)
  •        Validation and reconciliation of Financial cubes(Essbase)
  •        Responsible for running jobs on UNIX, file management for cubes testing.
  •       ETL testing and Data validations using SQL queries
  •        ALM and JIRA activities for setting up UAT test beds and defect management.
  •       Responsible for testing Cognos reports and Business object reports as a part of Reports testing.
  •     Co-ordinate daily meetings and accurate test status and defect reporting
  • Bachelors in Accounting/Finance with exposure to technology.
  • Technical skills-Proficiency with SQL queries, Databases, Financial Cubes, Unix.
  • Working knowledge of Management Reporting with good analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at all levels
  • Excellent business writing and verbal English communication skills
  • ALM/JIRA knowledge.
  • Strong control and quality management skills; accuracy and attention to detail is vital.
  • Assertive and self-confident, comfortable when interacting with senior management.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, teamwork and Multi tasking
  • Must be detail oriented and maintain professional behavior under stressful situations.  
  • Must be able to work in shifts.
