Job Description:
The Business Analyst will be part of the CCB Operations Quality Center of Excellence (COE) supporting management of the quality and testing programs across CCB.  The primary role of this team is to identify opportunities for greater Quality effectiveness and efficiency through four focus areas – comprehensive testing strategies across all Control and Operational entities, ongoing examination of testing programs for effectiveness and efficiency, reporting & automation to drive visibility and improve automated testing coverage.  The areas the teams are engaged in are often complex and can present complex, multilayered, and data intensive business challenges. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst will:
  • Help drive Quality COE agenda
  • Create quality metrics reporting including CCB Ops Quality dashboards and Cost of Quality metrics
  • Produce regular reporting on Quality metrics by group, by process type, by leader, by risk
  • Identify opportunities for reporting automation. 
  • Ability to cut data quickly, vision for how to set it up in data warehouse, NICE analytics, WEBSTATS
  • Works across COE and business partners to obtain required data for reporting
  • Work to with automation and reporting COE team to automate and standardize reporting across CCB Ops
  • Influence business partners, reporting and metrics evolution
  • Provide end to end ownership and accountability for assigned tasks; receiving strategic direction on the desired end-state,
  • Partner with peers and functional colleagues across the CCB Ops to facilitate and support analysis and reporting projects, on tight deadlines and changing requirements
  • Provide ad hoc project management support and analysis as needed.
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Technical skills: Strong skills in MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Knowledge base/Education
  • 3-5 years experience data mining and report generation experience
  • 3-5 years Quality metrics and/or Financial reporting experience preferred
  • Ability to influence and become a trusted advisor
  • Ability to translate strategic direction into a plan for action, and self-managing the completion of required tasks to achieve end-state with minimal ongoing direction.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to absorb and present complex ideas quickly and accurately
  • Strong partnerships and presence: Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders  and senior management
  • Energetic, self motivated and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced, changing and demanding working environment driven by the deadline of underlying business flow
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. 
  • Ability to work independently to produce and present concise, accurate and timely communications; strong presentation skills essential
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, owning the issues and having the determination to follow tasks/issues through to resolution
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to develop and manage project plans including timelines, milestones and issues
