Our Boston based Fund Product team seeks an experienced – Product Manager.  Reporting directly into location head, the incumbent will be responsible for the following functionality:
  • Continuously monitor and track new business opportunities, including RFP responses, commercial pricing, contract review, and post-implementation review to ensure that all requirements have been completed and that the process is comprehensively managed.
  • Identify product gaps and opportunities for new services/offerings
  • Responsible for contract review, including issue identification and remediation.
  • Responsible for regular reporting to senior stakeholders, reviewing operational cost, determining product revenue, and implementing governance framework.
  • Collect and maintain all necessary documentation when preparing and reviewing deals and contracts.
  • Work across Legal and Business teams to solicit and refine requirements and document acceptance criteria, and serve as an overall expert on the new business process.
  • Serve as escalation point for issues and the conduit for Ops/Product related requests.
  • Create framework for billing oversight and governance.
  • Ensure that all new deal activities are appropriately reflected in the risk and controls self assessment and business control forums.
  • Directly liaise with key clients and internal stakeholders to ensure best in class service delivery by entire team
  • Minimum of 10 years of investment services or relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree required; J.D., M.B.A, or CPA. preferred
  • Significant knowledge of the securities industry and applicable regulatory and operational requirements on both the custodial and fund accounting side
  • Strong presentation skills, including presentations to Boards of Directors and senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to multi-task and think critically.  Must have the energy and drive to grow a business.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written; excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a high performing team
  • Team player with ability to be respected as a trusted partner with the Business, Finance and Legal Teams.
