The Portfolio Analysis Group (PAG) within Asset Management covers both Investment Management and Private Bank performance reporting. The Group consists of multiple global performance teams responsible for producing performance analytics for both products and clients including but not limited to rates of return, attribution analysis, risk analytics and reporting. In addition the Group is responsible for maintaining and reporting manager composite performance. The International Private Bank PAG team is a part of the global Portfolio Analysis Group and is responsible for portfolio analysis of Private Bank client portfolios and products across EMEA, Latin America and Asia.

 

Job Responsibility:
 
As lead for the India PAG Projects team the candidate will be working across multiple projects as per the project requirements. The Portfolio Analysis Group consists of individuals with varying levels of seniority and across locations which candidate will be expected to interact with on a daily basis. As a project lead the candidate will be focusing on ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of the project.
 
Candidate will be expected to conduct thorough analysis starting from the project scope and write requirements for performance measurements, understand the unique considerations for each situation, develop proposals to address the implementation.
  • Working with the management team define overall transformation strategy, which will include reporting operating model, accountability model with businesses, business metrics, and knowledge management.
  • Oversee creation and maintenance of process maps, including documentation of current state processes, roles and responsibilities, metrics, key challenges and risks and initiatives under-way or in plan
  • Interact with business users, including senior managers, to understand key business processes and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Partner with technology partners and SMEs to translate business requirements into approved test scripts. Monitor system enhancements through UAT testing, sign-off and implementation. Monitor system enhancements through UAT testing, sign-off and implementation.
  • Develop and modify training processes and materials and oversee training execution.
  • Complete required status reporting to communicate project rating, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas/mitigate project risk.

 

  • 6-8 years of related experience in Business Analysis, Business Management, Program Management or Controls
  • Background  in Asset Management, Operations, Technology
  • Strong Project management skills
  • Knowledge and experience with the analysis of investment performance and risk statistics a plus
  • Continuous improvement and change management mindset, questioning conventional ways of managing the business and driving change to improve processes
  • Critical thinking ability.  Good organization and time management
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving deliverables
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities; flexibility is key
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills - ability to summarize findings into concise high level points geared to the audience
  • Proven strategic, organizational, communication and diplomacy skills to work cross-functionally to influence others, drive results/change, and implement projects/processes with business, technology, vendors and other third parties
