Our business
The Global Credit Trading business is a global leading market maker in bonds, credit derivatives, exotic products and solutions. Traders, salespeople, structuring and research teams work collectively to generate ideas and provide markets to clients. The Credit Exotics franchise is a global business which provides clients with non-flow, structured, products and solutions within the credit asset class. Its customers include banks, distributors, insurance companies, corporates, asset managers and hedge funds. The business is global with a team presence in New York, London and Hong Kong.
 
Opportunity
The opportunity is to join the Exotics Credit Trading Desk in London.


Key responsibilities
  • Execution and risk management of Credit Exotics products including Structured Notes, Credit linked swaps, Options and bespoke credit transactions
  • Generate trade ideas and actively participate in the development of new, innovative products
  • Engage salespeople and/or clients to provide trade ideas, tailored solutions to client needs   
  • Previous credit trading experience required
  • Experience in book running / risk management of products involving exotic risks
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong presentation skills and commercial acumen 
This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities.
