JPMorgan Chase is seeking an analyst to work with the leadership team of the Campus Recruiting function of the Corporate & Investment Bank. 
 
The Data and Business Management Analyst will take a proactive approach to leveraging data to measure performance, identify issues and propose solutions to organizational challenges, working alongside the Global Head of Campus Recruiting.  This role will be responsible for performance analytics and reporting, ensuring the broader team is well-equipped with client-ready data sets and presentations.  The analyst will also support the development and interpretation of the functional strategy, including the use of predictive analytics to guide business decisions.  
 
Campus Recruiting has embarked on a multi-year change journey and the analyst will play a key role in tracking and project managing the various initiatives as they are rolled out.  We seek a highly motivated, intellectually-curious professional interested in gaining talent analytics and people strategy experience.  This role will have exposure to every aspect of the talent acquisition life cycle, including workforce planning, talent sourcing, candidate assessment and human capital management.     
 
Responsibilities:
 
Data and Performance Analytics
  • Turn knowledge and data into operational insights and actionable solutions
  • Develop and enhance reporting capabilities with data sets are user-friendly and client-ready
  • Manage and create function-wide, global resources and tools including central databases, dashboards, presentation decks and reporting tools
  • Leverage and influence firmwide reporting and analytics capabilities to maximize team usage and opportunities for efficiency 
  • Using various internal systems, collect historic firmwide hiring data.  Analyze and manipulate data to present a year over year picture and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Develop surveys to measure recruiting effectiveness, including candidate experience, client experience, recruiter effectiveness, school scorecard, etc.
  • Liaise with firmwide and other Lines of Business (LOB) data analysts to share best practices and approaches
 
Business Management and Intelligence 
  • Provide project management support for various initiatives including data analysis, formulation of insights & recommendations, materials preparation
  • Work with senior leadership team in the expansion of the recruiting strategy, monitoring overall performance and building the case for change
  • Responsible for ensuring the integration of CIB strategies with firmwide priorities
  • Research and evaluate leading practices in talent acquisition and propose potential solutions in line with the multi-year change strategy
  • Working with other members of the central operations team, identify gaps, issues and opportunities for improvement.  Propose scalable initiatives and solutions that can be implemented within CIB and ultimately, across LOBs and geographic regions
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and trends using both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong PC skills with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Able to synthesize information and present in written/verbal format
  • Experience with developing reports and strategy documents to influence and drive thinking with senior stakeholders
  • Able to learn quickly, demonstrate appropriate decision-making and leverage feedback received
  • Possesses intellectual curiosity and a strong bias to continuous improvement and solutions
  • Track record of working collaboratively, building relationships within an operational team as well as liaising with resources outside of the team
  • Manage time efficiently and prioritize deliverables while remaining proactive and flexible in style
  • Demonstrates drive and energy and operates with a sense of urgency
  • High level of personal initiative, focus, resourcefulness and accountability
  • Able to handle HR information and data both confidentially and sensitively
  • Interest in Human resources, talent acquisition and talent analytics strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a client and/or professional services environment highly preferred
