Job Description:
As a Marketing Strategy Manager within Chase Auto Finance (CAF) marketing group, you will be responsible for defining and leading the marketing plans for our auto manufacturer business.  You will have specific responsibility for marketing initiatives, campaigns, and projects with a focus on the Manufacturer channel, specifically Mazda and the Chase private label, Mazda Capital Services (MCS).  In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the strategy, leading the internal marketing execution team on assigned projects, and interfacing with clients (Mazda) to drive strategies to support and drive business
 
This position reports to the Executive Director - Marketing Strategy.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Consult with the multiple lines of business, as well as our private label clients, to develop marketing strategies for conquest (acquisitions) and loyalty (retention) programs.
  • Interact with internal partners including general managers, brand managers, remarketing, sales, legal, compliance, credit, and operations as part to ensure success of marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with the client and MCS brand manager to create and manage a strategic marketing roadmap for MCS. 
  • Enhance co-marketing plans by adding content, social and public relations expertise
  • Employ innovative tactics and story-telling to reach desired audiences
  • Identify or create experiences for consumers and employees to engage with manufacturer brands
  • Manage and socialize marketing scorecards, KPIs, and show conquest sales, engagements and loyalty generated from plan.
  • Support and develop a marketing learning agenda for the business including test-and-learn strategies.
  • Work with client and with brand managers  to ensure program is legally compliant and delivers upon customer/client experience expectations
  • Collaborate with functional marketing teams to support the collective CAF marketing strategy.
  • Keep up with industry trends in marketing and captive lending to be subject matter experts to the business
  • 10+ years of related marketing experience strongly desired
  • Seasoned marketer in the Auto or Auto Finance industry ideal
  • Marketing expertise in the captive lending, partnership, business-to-business or direct-to-consumer space is a plus.
  • Experience within the Auto or Auto Finance industry a plus
  • Partner marketing and relationship management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;  Ability to execute with speed to market.
  • Strong presentation skills; ability to effectively present to and collaborate with executive leadership
  • Experience using multiple channels to market services (digital, print, email, social)
  • Strong project management, organization, and leadership skills
  • Experience showing return on marketing investment, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Experience collaborating with an experienced team
