The Post Funding Specialist is a hybrid role that will provide oversight, follow up and reconciliation for multiple functions.

    Qualifications

     

    ·         Post Funding Specialist is responsible to ensure research items are reviewed within SLA and required provide assistance to onshore & offshore peers as needed.

    ·         Ability to work independently with direction as needed

    ·         Multifunctional

    o    The ability to learn and handle multiple functions at a time

    o     Cross-train on all function within the department.

    o    Ability to train and mentor new peers

    o    Ability to manage and maintain productivity / quality during peak periods, high volumes, & stressful situations

    ·         Communicate information in a timely and complete manner in an effort to meet goals

    ·         Exercises sound and independent judgment regarding when to refer issues to Lead/Supervisor/Manager/Credit Exec  

    o    Work closely with Underwriting, Quality. Processing, Prelim, Closing assigned market, mortgage advisory  team and other Mortgage Center teams to solidify relationships

    o    Recommend decisions based on specific  policy/guidelines

    o    Make sound recommendations based on specific state policy guidelines

    o    Demonstrate decisiveness by making thoughtful and timely decisions in stressful and ambiguous situations

    o    Speaks up with own ideas/viewpoints in an effort to improve or change current process to enhance efficiency

    o    Excellent written and verbal communication required to maintain email/phone correspondence with internal and external customers

    o    Ability to work standard scenario production files and ability to partner with senior peers or supervisor to resolve complicated files.

    o    Can effectively negotiate with partners

     

     

    ·         Knowledge of State specific items which can include but not limited to; CEMA, REMA, and MIM, state specific disclosures and processing requirements and deadlines.

    o    Can analyzes complex collateral issues and is able to identify and mitigate risks as wells as address  issues as they arise
