We are investing in innovative ways to attract customers as well as deepen customer engagement, satisfaction and profitability through the use of digital channels. The ambition is to position Chase as the undisputed leader in digital financial services and payments, and to enable delivery of highly personalized, real-time experiences that customers increasingly expect. 

UI/UX designers, business developers, graphics designers, user experience research, user strategy, project managers, copywriters and other creative professionals comprise the teams within the Digital Customer Experience Organization (dCE). These professionals are responsible for delivering unique and innovative designs and experiences across organizations, applications, products and offerings. Diverse backgrounds range across design agencies, mobile handset manufacturers, financial institutions, mobile carriers, startups and content providers. 


The Design Foundations team in DCE is looking for a profoundly engaged Sr. Visual Designer to join us. In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of designers, planners and researchers committed to designing the foundations of our digital ecosystem. 

Key responsibilities include:     


-Manage the creation of visual design deliverables for specific work streams

-Review design deliverables

-Manage the contributions to the design system visual library

-Distinguish dCE work through professionalism as well as caliber of design solution 

-Support the development of a world class design language system 

-Develop deep respect based relationships with key stakeholder partners

-Attract, build and retain the talent required to operate a high performance team, nurture staff capabilities and development

-Provide management rigor: schedules, reviews, resource planning, visibility

-Co-lead project plans and schedules 

-Coordinate decisions and recommendations for large projects/programs

-Accountable for alignment within dCE 

-Execute processes and produce artifacts in support of the group

-Train and coach others in performance of duties

-Serve as the representative of the group's interests in meetings and discussions 

  • Bachelor’s in Design or related field, or significant equivalent experience
  •  years' minimum experience
  • A strong visual portfolio
  • Knowledge of multiple platforms and devices browser capabilities and limitations.
  • Design for accessibility
  • Experience using Sketch
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-disciplinary and geographically dispersed environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information clearly and appropriately handle sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills with experience coordinating multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business priorities and a strong work ethic
  • Significant experience designing web and/or mobile applications
  • Proven understanding of brand development and representation in the mobile space
  • Superb information design abilities, fastidious and efficient production and optimization habits, and impeccable problem solving skills
  • Project multi-tasking
  • Demonstrates the ability to use prototyping tools to convey design intent
  • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple priorities on concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
