Quantitative Models are essential components of the AWM business and are used across all LOBs to aid investment decisions, measure risk, and provide analytical and statistical tools to support business management. The Model Review Group (MRG) is responsible for conducting independent model validation to identify, measure, and mitigate Model Risk in AWM and firm-wide.  MRG works closely with front office quants, Risk, Finance, and LOB professionals in reviewing findings, measuring on-going model risk, and providing risk mitigating strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, analyze, and test models used in AWM for Valuation, Risk, VaR, and Stress Testing.
  • Perform independent implementation, benchmark testing, sensitivity analysis, and additional tests for each model as appropriate.
  • Maintain effective challenge, critical thinking, independence, and consistency in model review activities.
  • Effectively manage business priorities to complete high quality model review work.
  • Support regulatory and audit requests.



  • MSc or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Finance or Statistics.
  • Excellent understanding of the mathematical, statistical, and numerical methods used in quantitative finance.
  • Thorough knowledge of at least one programming language such as C/C++/Python.
  • Excellent communication skills.
