CIB Technology Riyadh – Technology Associate
The CIB Technology Team in Saudi Arabia has responsibility for delivering, supporting and operating technology solutions for Treasury Services, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Equities within Saudi Arabia. The team has full responsibility for local branch applications and is accountable for global strategic systems used by the Branch. We engage with local vendor partners to develop and support front office, back office, accounting and financial reporting capabilities.

The individual would be joining the Saudi CIB Technology Team. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on and enthusiastic technologist who is adaptable and flexible, and is keen to gain experience across many aspect of technology including software delivery, production support, project management, risk & controls and resiliency. The position offers potential leadership and advancement opportunities for the right candidate.
Short description of key responsibilities (5/6)
Hands on monitoring of systems/applications; troubleshoot and remediate issues
Operating as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager to analyse and document Business requirements in conjunction with Riyadh subject matter experts (SMEs) and global system owners to ensure key requirements are identified and then delivered by vendor partners
Produce documents detailing technical operating procedures, configuration and installation of systems, business continuity planning, periodic MIS, etc.
Clearly articulate system issues for resolution by second and third level international support teams.
Ensure that processes and procedures related to regulator provided clearing and other systems are established and updated on a regular basis. Ensure all processes and procedures are adhered to
Develop strong working relationships locally and with international hub teams.
Qualifications – Not behaviors
University graduate in related areas (preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering).
Technology experience within the financial services industry - business analysis / application support for medium or large systems
UNIX/Linux System Administration; SQL knowledge on MSSQL / ORACLE platforms.
Excellent communication skills in English.
