Our Team


Our Geneva office is currently looking for a Team Member for its Tax Operations Department. With over 180 employees, the Operations group in Geneva is the hub for the international Private Banking Business (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia).The Tax Team covers a variety of jurisdictions – US, UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, France and Italy. The team’s core responsibilities are:

  • Tax withholding and reporting
  • New tax legislation changes monitoring
  • Tax audit management
  • Project management
  • Implementation of new tax legislation projects such as FATCA, etc.
  • Process improvements
  • Training and presentations
  • Tax support for various other departments – Operations, Front Office, Finance, etc.


The Role


Being part of the Tax Team, the successful candidate will be working on tax withholding and reporting in close collaboration with his/her immediate colleagues and colleagues from other departments and locations. This is a unique opportunity to gain and share knowledge of withholding and reporting tax regimes, financial products, operational flows and systems in a fast paced and innovative environment.

The candidate will be the key contact for her/his market and will have the opportunity to work with various teams and stakeholders such as the Front Office, Legal, Technology, and other Operational groups. Due to the challenging tax environment, the candidate will have to participate to various projects and understand the impacts not only for the tax team but also for other operational teams. In this context, the candidate will be responsible of the below tasks:


  • Ensure annual tax reporting production for our clients by conducting reconciliations and liaising with Technology department
  • Withholding tax collection and payment to the Tax Authorities
  • Control the operational transactions and the correct levying of the withholding
  • Actively participate to projects to enhance process and implement Financial Law changes
  • Review on a monthly basis the Veille Fiscale to track any legislation changes that would need to be reflected in our systems and in the tax reporting
  • Coordinate the full cycle of the Tax Reclaim from the preparation of the forms until the reimbursement reporting to the Tax Authorities; Monitor any market changes affecting the process
  • Take lead in assisting the Front Office and other Operational teams in answering their daily queries


The position is based in Geneva and reports to the Tax Team Manager.

  • Educated up to a degree level
  • Prior experience in Operational taxes is required (minimum of 2-4 years experience) and familiar with Tax reporting process
  • Knowledge of key concepts of Operational taxes would be an advantage
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and “team spirit” attitude
  • At ease with interaction with senior stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office
  • Must be a good team worker who thrives in a team based environment
  • Knowledge of the Olympic core system (optional)
