Legal Entity Regulatory Reporting is responsible for providing data and analytical reporting to regional and local Chief Risk Officers, regulators and Senior Management.  There is a critical need to focus on ensuring risk reporting is comprehensive, timely, and accurate so that all levels of risk management can use it to understand and manage the business in a timely and effective manner.
 
For some locations, Legal Entity Regulatory Reporting manages the interface and relationship with local regulators around Market and Credit Risks. This requires an understanding and interpretation of the local regulatory requirements and providing a consistent response to each of the individual regulators with whom we interact. For those entities, LE Regulatory Reporting is responsible for risk oversight and control of the legal entities, which involves the establishment of a cross line of business framework for the measurement and control of market and credit risks at the legal entity level.
 
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
 
The candidate will be based in London and will report to the EMEA Legal Entity Regulatory Reporting Manager. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting market risk for EMEA locations. There is a critical need to focus on ensuring risk reporting is comprehensive, timely, and accurate so that all levels of risk management can use it to understand and manage the business in a timely and effective manner. The position also requires interactions with Businesses, Market Risk Coverage, Finance, Audit and Operations.
 
 
Responsibilities, skills, specific duties, and essential functions:
  • Ensure processes are established to provide accurate risk reporting for the entity to support location governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide a reasonableness review of market risk information contained in the regulatory reporting.
  • Modify local reports to comply with changing regulations. Understand the regulatory requirements and coordinate with Technology the implementation of those requirements.
  • Ensure any risk excesses are escalated and controlled according to local risk policies.
  • Participate in the location Risk Committee meetings to cover changes in and understanding of risk profiles and any risk issues arising
  • Actively engage with location risk managers to remain current on risks, business activity, exposures, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Financial Engineering/ Mathematics/ Statistic/ Finance
  • Previous Market Risk Management related working experience
  • Strong product and market knowledge in relation to derivatives and related valuation/ risk management issues
  • Strong knowledge on risk control processes
  • Familiar with Risk Management related banking regulations
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Logical thinking, details driven and well ordered
  • Proficient in MS office software.
