Job Description:

The Global Finance India - Transition Management Team is expanding to include a Team Leader to handle Business Migration projects. Team Leader will be responsible to work with the Donor & Receptor Business's to understand the process and manage projects. The team is responsible for driving the off-shoring agenda for Corporate finance and corporate risk as well as effectively manage and drive GFI -wide projects and initiatives. The PMO team plays a dual role as the Transitions Management Team (TMT) as well as the Projects Team to drive the GFI-wide projects. The candidate will be required to overlap few hours with US teams as most of the projects will have US based business users.

 
 
Primary Responsibilities include
 
Transitions Management Team (TMT)
 
  • Act as central co-ordination point for all off-shoring initiatives migrating functionality
  • Create detailed project plans and hold regular touch-point calls/meetings with the onshore and the receptor stakeholders to closely track the progress of the migration per the timelines mentioned therein
  • Engage key parties from the corporate groups in both the donor and receptor location early on and continue to liaise with them throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Act as point of liaison and escalation between the LOB, PMO and  IAS
  • End to End project responsibility and ownership

Experience and the required Skill sets:

 
  • Graduate (Commerce), PMP, MBA (Finance or Systems) Qualified professional with a minimum of 2-4 years experience in banking operations/project management. Candidates with Finance Operational Experience and having been involved in functional migration, as part of Operations team, can also be considered
  • Customer centric and result oriented
  • Strong communication and inter personal skills
  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills & exposure to Operation functions highly preferable
  • Ability to work with various cross-functional and cross -location teams
  • Project management & prioritization skills - ability to work through change
  • Adherence to deadlines by managing key project milestones and deliverables as part of the project plan
  • Ability to understand and develop solutions based on customer requirements
