JPMorgan is seeking an Analyst to support the marketing efforts of the Institutional FX Sales Team based in New York.  The team provides global macro coverage with focus on foreign exchange products. The client base includes hedge funds, asset managers and central banks.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with senior marketers, bankers and clients to increase revenue and build the client base. 

 

Daily tasks will include: 

·         Coordinating transaction execution and requisite follow-up, including closing and booking trades and ensuring accuracy of trade documentation 

·         Providing market color and presenting creative ideas and solutions to clients

·         Staying abreast of market developments and JPMorgan research

 

    The candidate must have:  

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Creative problem solving abilities
    • Solid understanding of the mathematics of financial markets
    • Solid understanding of institutional client profile
    • Foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity market experience is a plus
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple language and concrete action steps
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Expert Excel, Power Point and MSOffice skills
    • Experience working in a team-based environment
    • Understanding of sales and the sales process
    • Knowledge of derivatives and/or structured products
    • Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions and daily tasks
    • Maturity and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced and open environment
