Job Description:

The candidate in this role is an innovative, results driven professional with great people skills, deep expertise and extensive experience in project management with a robust continuous improvement background. This position will work across lines of businesses, geographies and verticals to drive broad change in systems and processes using lean, six sigma with a customer-obsessed culture to drive improved controls and enhanced client experience for internal and external stakeholders.


The ability to think big and execute at a tactical and strategic level is critical to the success of the candidate. The Global Strategic Program Manager will lead multiple projects from initiation through implementation.



The Role:

The Program Manager role will be experienced both as an individual contributor and leader.

  • Lead the strategy and execution of Process Re-engineering and Continuous Improvement of workflows to support Global Trade Finance Operations
  • Responsible to drive the ideation across the organization to identify and support process re-engineering and improvement
  • Develop strategies and set priorities that enable successful execution to help deliver a new industry standard
  • Drive tactical and strategic execution of key initiatives managing multiple projects taking appropriate action to ensure timely and effective program oversight
  • Change agent with strong credibility and influence at all levels within the organization
  • Drive culture of Innovation through best practice sharing, vocal advocacy and visible hands-on leadership
  • Partner with the Senior leadership in project selection, scope, definition and performance to ensure alignment with business strategy
  • Develop and provide right metrics to measure process quality and productivity, providing meaningful feedback to technology and business teams
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, decision makers and colleagues to ensure organizational goals are met
  • Responsible for partnering with key stakeholders in order to understand the strategy, direction and roadmap objectives for the business
  • Responsible for management, support, career development, mobility for our people
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, or Business
  • 5+ years of Project Management & Program Management experience required

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and lead a team to understand business goals and analyze opportunities

  • Demonstrated strong collaborative problem-solving skills evidenced by results in past positions

  • Strong process, manufacturing, or technical background with an ability to understand work flow and throughput through the operation

  • Articulate and able to communicate with employees at all levels across the organization, from front-line associates to executives through written as well as verbal communication

  • Demonstrated Change Management experience including the ability to work with improvement team sponsors to address barriers to a team’s success

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in fast-paced environment while managing activities of more senior people within work streams

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information appropriately

  • Willing to stand up for their ideas within appropriate guidelines

  • Experience of Finance, Banking, Insurance or similar businesses a strong plus
