Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business (LOB) to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution, and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
The candidate will be a part of dedicated Global Technology Decommission Factory team that manages end to end application decommissions globally across technology business units. This team owns firm-wide decommission practice that will standardize and pro-actively manage decommission of technology assets for the various LOBs in close interaction with Group Technology Infrastructure.  The team consists of relationship management, pipeline management, business analysis, data mining/data discovery, execution of deco mm, automation and reporting.

Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
•The candidate will be primarily responsible for Pipeline management for application decommissions aligning to the respective LOB
• The candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work independently in a fast paced, results driven environment. 
• Partner with the GT business and technology teams in application deco mms
• Deliver detailed documentation on pipeline management
• Stakeholder management
• Coordinate with various levels of senior management and their delegates across global regions/time zones to determine the key milestones, timelines, progress, risks and dependencies.
• Must also have a consultative approach to encourage early escalation, determining the cause of deviations from the plan and resolution of potential delays.
• Independent thinking, willingness to "step outside the box" and with demonstrated ability to be reliable and flexible.
• Conduct bi-weekly progress reviews with Management team and delegates to review project status towards meeting its objectives, pending actions, delays, risks and dependencies.   
• Track and report project milestone delivery, efforts invested, associated productivity saves, risks and dependencies to senior management.
• Independent thinking, willingness to "step outside the box" and with demonstrated ability to be reliable and flexible.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and have strong organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 10+ years of professional IT experience.
• 10+ years of application life cycle management/application development experience preferably in an application decommission projects
• 4-5 years management experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Certified in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2.
• Proven leadership skills with excellent track record in delivering global strategic projects managing project resources outside their direct span of control.
• Adept at time management, prioritization, analysis and reporting.
• Experience in a Large Global Banking/Financial domain is an added advantage
• Good understanding of distributed computing technologies including server hardware, storage, network, database management and AIX/Linux/UNIX Operating Systems and virtual environment
• Good knowledge of change and incident Management
• Strong understanding of Infra Life Cycle Management
• Good understanding in process engineering and ITIL Practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with senior management and fellow colleagues across diverse cultures.
• Detail oriented; committed to quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to function productively and independently in a fast paced changing environment
• Good working knowledge on - MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, Project), SharePoint
