Position Summary: The CRM Mortgage Sales Business Owner reports to the Growth Strategies Director and manages a team to drive the lead management technology effort.
 
This person will be responsible for enabling sales through technology, leveraging our existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool – Contact Central, and building our next generation tool on Salesforce.com.
 
This person will drive the success of the program with the following activities:
  • Be the voice of technology enablement with stakeholders, evangelizing current capabilities and roadmap.
  • Directly shape functional execution of the lead management technology strategy, and develop the team through which that strategy is executed
  • Influence mid to long term strategies and objectives, and understand the larger picture. 
  • Maintain contact with senior stakeholders for the effort, and build consensus around the strategy and the roadmap.
  • Responsible for decisions and activities that have significant impact on the Mortgage P&L.
  • Act as the Product Owner in an agile environment, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring excellent execution.
  • Build a cohesive, winning team through strong communication and involvement of all team members. Mentor and coach to achieve high performance and facilitate employee career progression.  
  • Act as a strategic partner to internal customers to solution the needs of users, and prioritize against our development budget.
  • Pursue cross-functional opportunities to improve customer experience and sales (mortgage banker, lending manager) experience.
  • Demonstrate superior judgement to identify and mitigate risk that could impact the success of the program.
 
 
This position requires a high level of strategy and analysis to translate initiatives in to action plans.  
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance)
  1. Develop, deploy, and manage  the next generation Lead Management/CRM platform for Mortgage Banking Originations.
  2. Develop the business case and budget for technology enablement programs, and manage to that budget and the business case commitments.
  3. Be an expert in salesforce.com, and an advocate for the development roadmap.
  4. Be (or become) an expert in the needs of our mortgage sales force, and translate those needs into technology enablement solutions.
  5. People Management: Evaluate team’s activities and enhance team contributions to sales force effectiveness
  6. Business Process Management: Simplify all sales business processes. Capture and communicate effects of all business decisions with Sales stakeholders
  7. Participate in requests for strategic opportunities and provide analysis of strategic decisions
  8. Act as point of contact for internal partners and assist with information coordination
Knowledge and Experience:
 

  • Masters in Business or finance and 5+ years of mortgage or lead management/CRM technology experience is preferred.  Experience with marketing, technology program management, and project management required.
  • Ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end process for external customers and internal Chase processes, and to translate that knowledge into technology requirements.
  • Ability to manage the priorities of numerous urgent business requests
  • Experience deploying salesforce.com to a large user-base, preferably within financial services
  • Experience with marketing automation
