Chase Auto Finance (CAF) has been a leading provider of auto financing for more than 60 years, and is one of the largest auto lenders in the U.S. Chase has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality services for thousands of automotive dealers across the country, and continued to offer financing during the Great Recession. It purchases auto loans and leases directly from dealers, and makes auto loans directly to consumers through bank branches and online at chase.com. As an Executive Director within the CAF Business and Program Management team you will help define and drive change from its infancy into execution, provide governance and oversight throughout the change management lifecycle as well as handle all Executive Reporting and business management functions for the CAF CEO and the leadership team. The role is located in Brooklyn, NY and will report directly to the CAF Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Manage the strategic agenda utilizing an objective, fact-based lens on opportunities and risks
  • Working closely with business partners and other key stakeholders, keeping aligned to the business direction and influencing decisions that will impact the  business
  • Managing the Strategic Priority Assessment process for Auto as well as represent Auto on xCCB initiatives
  • Coordinate overall priorities for CAF in coordination with the CEO, CTO, CFO and other direct reports
  • Partnering with Technology to enhance productivity, improve process efficiency and the client experience thru the CCB Demand Process
  • Providing transparency to the Leadership team and other constituents on the change manage activities across the business
  • Managing the delivery of all Executive reporting for the CAF Chief Executive Officer
  • Manage all aspects of Real Estate/Location Strategy
  • Lead business management functions and ensure CAF compliance with CCB/Corporate policies and procedures
  • Promote a strong control environment by adhering to risk/control expectations, procedures, and processes
 
 Skill Set:
  • Experience in managing, and motivating teams, providing vision, presence, and credibility
  • Strong sense of prioritization, urgency, execution and delivery with extensive experience of driving process change and efficiencies in a growing business
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with the Business, Technology and other key stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Ability to challenge, influence and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure decisions are well thought out and can be executed successfully
  • Results-oriented with a high level of personal initiative and proven leadership ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to remain calm under intense pressure
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
  • Relevant experience working in retail banking or other service industry
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience, with demonstrated success across strategy, product, program management, operations and / or finance
