Your role:
Your core project would be our Notifications platform, a fast paced and expanding platform within J.P. Morgan, we’re looking to extend and diversify the skillset of our team to enhance the portfolio of apps and frameworks we provide.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Test planning for web, desktop and mobile applications.
  • Designing, creating and executing automated test scenarios.
  • Performing exploratory testing to supplement automated testing.
  • Rapid feedback of test results to the rest of the team.
  • Logging and prioritising defects through to resolution.
  • Continuous learning through pairing with team members, courses and self-study.
  • Influencing test in the mobile space as well as at the group level.
You have:
  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent level of technical background.
  • Functional/Exploratory Testing experience.
  • Significant Automated Testing experience.
You might also have:
  • Experience writing automated tests using an object oriented language such as Java, Python, Ruby and JavaScript.
  • Experience using defect tracking systems such as Jira.
  • Experience using Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience working with JSON Web Services.
  • Experience of Load/Performance testing tools.
  • Experience of version control tools such as Git, Stash or Subversion.
  • Experience of Service Virtualisation.
  • ISTQB certification.
