Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) Team         
                                     
The Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) team resides within Corporate Finance. The group is responsible for the execution and delivery against the Firm’s regulatory reporting requirements to its U.S. regulators.   The team has end-to-end responsibility for US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing, including the design, implementation, and oversight of the execution, analysis, control and governance frameworks.  Its mandate includes determining the appropriate investment in people, processes and technology to improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency of the Firm’s US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing submissions, as well as the implementation of new requirements and guidelines as they are published.
 
The objectives of the FRRA Team are to provide leadership on all aspects of US regulatory reporting and Firmwide capital stress-testing, including both internal and regulatory requirements.
  
External Reporting Analytics Associate
The External Reporting Analytics Associate will support the Team lead to help drive automation, enhancement, and production relative to these key responsibilities:
  • Development of data collection, storage and management capabilities
  • Design and creation of performance and risk metrics / executive reporting
  • Build out of operational performance and staffing forecasting models
  • Creation of executive materials including presentations, status updates, and other reports
  • Support data project agenda, including requirements, evaluation, design, development, testing and implementation.
  • Proactively identify gaps in process and/or data set and refine capabilities per strategic priorities - report findings in a simple, compelling way
  • Recommend improvements across all aspects of operating model - process efficiencies and technology enhancements
 
This role requires strong MIS and reporting skills to support multiple stakeholders across Corporate Finance, and provide exposure to various groups and functional areas.  The individual will be expected to partner with Team lead, project owners, and senior management across External Reporting Operations, Consumption Strategy, Corporate Financial Reporting, Firm-wide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis and Line of Business/functional Controller teams. The role will also involve participating in various strategic initiatives and delivering innovative solutions to both simple and complex challenges.
 
Qualifications & Required Skills
The candidate for this position must have the following qualifications and skill set to perform this role:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of business analyst experiences in operation, service quality, or information technology
  • Strong development and site management skills, including scripting, HTML/XML, jQuery,
  • Proficiency with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath application, and Customized Workflows required
  • Strong Data Visualization design and development skills:  QlikView/Sense a must, Tableau a plus
  • Experience with creating complex dashboards expressions / customizing reporting UI
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, MS Access, SQL, VBA required
  • Experience with defining and writing MIS business requirements
  • Ability to work in teams and to interface and present to stakeholders of varying levels
  • Availability to support quarter-end close schedules which may require extended hours and weekends
  • Creative thinking – continuously reevaluating and improving processes
  • Results-oriented / delivery focused; ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
