Job Description:
As the Data Engine Owner responsible for Card Data Furnishing to the National Consumer Credit Bureaus you will own the daily operation and analysis activities across various initiatives within the Data Furnishing Team for all data furnished from C3.  In addition XLOB processing for all data retuned as rejected or illogical from the NCRAs for all LOBs and engines resides with this Data Engine Owner. 

Responsibilities Include:
  • General responsibilities include; managing daily activities of analysts, data analysis and reporting to derive performance improvement opportunities, isolate root causes, and collaborate on viable solutions to drive variation out of operational processes, oversight and examination of operational and quality control processes including review and advisory consultation on scope, sampling, testing, reporting and effectiveness of controls and corrective actions, use analytic tools to explain performance results and provide recommendations regarding operations performance in order to inform the business of risks and opportunities.
  • Manage daily operational activities of a team of analysts.  Assign tasks and monitor performance.
  • Ability to understand, create and manage advanced tools and techniques of business analysis (i.e. process maps / flows, rules matrices, mockups, data matrices, contextual level data diagrams, system interface diagrams etc.)
  • Responsible for defect management including monitoring and reporting on defect resolution.
  • Interface in various forums to report on project and program milestones and present project needs and technical knowledge.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and provide consistent follow up on the status of issues.
  • Effective at complex problem resolution and expected to assist in resolving all difficult issues, expanding the solution to include infrastructure, architecture, and multi-tier tools and business system strategies.
  • Design and own management reporting packages for CRA and business repositories that enable communication of business results with transparency to all constituents.
  • Analyze CRA and business repository data furnishing quality and preform root cause analysis of those trades/loans rejected or transformed.
  • Own the compilation of monthly cross line of business CRA data statistics for furnishing from both internal and external resources.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and translate metric performance across functions and across different lines of business.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills for partnering with various levels of the organization and influencing results.
  • Demonstrating strong problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to streamline data inputs in order to turn around timely analysis that drives business oversight.
  • Employ statistical analytics techniques to analyze data and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
  • BS/BA required; quantitative focus / advanced study a plus.
  • 3-5 years operations management experience.
  • 3-5 years credit industry experience in a credit bureau relationship environment and/or credit data furnishing.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and conduct data analysis that yields actionable business insights and ability to package and present key business insight in formal executive presentations.
  • Knowledge and application of successful business analysis tools and practices with practical experience.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and client partnership ability.
  • Advanced-level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, VBA, PowerPoint) and in SQL query development.
  • Experience developing complex business analysis models.
  • Current experience using SAS.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment.
