Job Description:

Chase Consumer Cards production management team supports five critical blocks that are part of the firm's credit card applications. We are seeking an individual to provide production support for the credit card application. As a team member, the individual will be responsible for providing the necessary support to "Run the Engine" activities, analyze and resolve issues with the critical batch processes, triage the issues reported,  get back to the business with the root cause and the resolutions and work with the development team to implement those. The individual would also be required to support the firm's enterprise release activities and outage windows.


This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

•Candidate will be responsible for production support.

•Duties include: Resolving jobs abends with minimum turnaround time and troubleshooting, service level agreement monitoring and maintenance, problem resolution, issue escalation, general maintenance of the production environment and RTE processes and reporting during certain planned critical activities.

•Root cause analysis of issues reported by business/users, providing solutions and working with the application development partners to implement those

•Proactively identify any issues that would result in a potential monetary or customer impact to the firm and mitigate those.

Technical Qualifications:

•Total experience should be around 6-10 years in software Industry.

•Experience in all/some of the mainframe technologies viz, Cobol, JCL, IMS-DB, CICS,vsam and Db2

•Knowledge of rexx/easytrieve desirable but not mandatory


Other skills and Job requirements include:

•Creativity, innovation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

•Willingness to work in shifts.

•Good communication skills.

•Excellent problem solving and team building skills a must.

•Aptitude for documentation and providing training.

•Good at planning the given set of tasks and report status periodically in a formal way.
