Global Supplier Services (GSS) provides infrastructure support and platforms leveraged by all lines of business and corporate areas to source, procure and pay vendors for the firm. We work in close partnership with corporate technology teams to establish standard operations that are integrated across business, functions, legal entities and regions.
Global Supplier Services Operations (GSSO) is responsible for procurement operations, accounts payable operations, reimbursement of business travel & entertainment expenses to staff, processing and reporting of corporate fixed assets, contingent worker operations and indirect tax operations.
We are seeking a high performing Associate to work alongside our GSS Operations VP supporting the Latin American region.  The individual would be expected to support the regional manager in delivering an optimum, controlled and consistent process (for in-country non-hub sites) encompassing T&E, invoice (PO and non PO), corporate card, fixed asset and accounting management.  Specific delivery to include:-
  • Full adherence to the location strategy directive ensuring only non-standard activity that does not fit to the corporate operating model, i.e. where activity must be completed in country due to local regulations and cannot cross borders, is conducted outside of the defined hubs  
  • Ensuring an effective control environment encompassing a bi-polar resiliency model either in  or in-country where functions need to stay onshore
  • Ensuring the corporate control framework is fully developed and managed in a globally consistent manner in regards to on-shore testing need.
  • Continued development of established business partner networks across Internal Audit, ORM, IRM, Technology and HR
  • Interaction with external auditors and regulators as required
  • Strong partnership with Corporate Tax, Local Finance and Regulatory Reporting partners to ensure compliance with tax and reporting regulations
  • Strong attention to client service across Line of Business, including a globally consistent effective communication framework
  • Promoting, encouraging and driving innovative change      
  • Participation in all technology aligned initiatives that impact the region throughout the end to end project life-cycle 
  • Contribution to the core technical knowledge of the team
  • Staff management responsibility in the absence of the regional manager
  • 5 years plus experience in procure to pay operations  
  • Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management organization.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients
  • Strong client service skills
  • Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Expert use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and ability to present to senior management
  • Verbal fluency in Spanish and Portuguese required.  Written fluency in Spanish and Portuguese a plus
