This multi-faceted position reports directly to the head of Human Resources for Home Lending and Auto Finance. Specifically, you will be responsible for managing significant projects that drive the Human Capital Strategy for the businesses. From idea generation through change management and execution, you will be responsible for strategic people initiatives (i.e., JPMC Performance Development, Culture Council, Home Lending Development Program.)
Additionally, as a HR Business Partner you will drive all people strategies including recruitment, talent planning, leadership development, performance development, organizational design, compensation, and diversity and inclusion for a client group.
In this role, you will
Partner closely with the HR community in recruiting, development, employee relations and compensation.
Drive the comprehensive talent agenda including succession planning, hi-potential and leadership development embedding diversity as a key priority.
Partner with business leaders to ensure the appropriate programs are in place to drive employee engagement.
Create & drive programs to support retention strategies, career development and mobility across the teams and across the firm.
Ensure employees and managers receive the appropriate counseling, guidance and support on employee relations issues.
Establish and measure key people metrics, aligned with business goals and work with business to drive progress.
Participate as a member of the CCB HR Key Initiative Forums and Project Management / Change Management communities of practice.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required because this position routinely interacts with employees at all levels of Home Lending & Auto Finance, CCB and JPMC. Fast and reliable decision-making skills are critical in order to keep pace with the business and regulatory environments, and JPMC priorities. It is critical for you to understand when and how to escalate decisions or risks. Other key requirements include: business acumen, understanding of how to work within structured decision-making constructs, ability to identify key stakeholders, assessing change management requirements and employee impact, and knowing when to challenge topics, issues and decisions.

Executive Level Presenting and Reporting
- 5 – 7 years of relevant experience managing complex projects with high end user impacts that cross multiple groups outside of the function
- Ability to take abstract concepts and new thinking to create a recommendation
- Self starter who balances when to escalate and when to make progress with ideas/recommendations
- Experience creating executive presentations using facts and data to create a compelling business case for an initiative
- Proficient in all MS Office skills, advanced Excel and data analytics
- Savvy with tools used to engage remote audience (i.e., WebEx)
- Ability manage projects with core tools such as a project plan, an issues/risks list and regular team meetings. Takes accountability for the project deliverables and manages task owners to deliverable dates
- Ability to clearly articulate the value statement of the programs/projects within this position’s portfolio
- Ability to communicate complex issues and concepts in clear, concise and meaningful words and pictures
Bachelors Degree required
Project Management certification (PMP) preferred
Human Resources and/or Financial Services experience preferred
