Role: Vice President, Affordable Lending Strategy
Home Lending has expanded its presence in the affordable lending segment in order to make home ownership available to as many customers as are qualified to take advantage of it. With this objective, an organization is currently focused on designing and implementing a sustainable business model in this segment.
This role is responsible for developing/managing the strategy and design of the affordable lending business, including assessment of the market opportunity, design of Chase’s service model. The role will report to Affordable Lending Strategy Director and requires extensive interactions with multiple functions in Home Lending (e.g., Product, Risk, Marketing, Finance).
Responsibilities will include:
Gather and analyze complex data to assess current performance
Own analytics on market opportunity and customer segmentation
Evaluate Chase’s performance at channel and market level
Develop views on competitive offerings and assessment of Chase’s current position
Develop Chase’s value proposition (e.g., product, pricing) in the affordable segment
Partner with channel leaders and operations executives as well as cross-functional teams
Lead optimization of potential actions across channels to meet affordable lending objectives
Develop communication materials to senior management
experience in banking strategy, analytics, and finance roles, preferably in
Strong problem solving and exceptional analytical abilities
Process and project management experience
4-year college degree required; advanced degree desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi task – given interactions with multiple teams
