Job Description:

The Business Project Management Manager leads key initiatives and development for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) within the CRE Business Execution Team.  This position will partner closely with CRE lines of business and partner groups.  The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented leader with the ability to set direction and drive execution in a fast paced environment.  Ideally the candidate will have a strong track record of demonstrated successful execution as both a single contributor and experienced manager.  The role offers a high level of visibility and opportunities to contribute significantly to critical initiatives for Commercial Real Estate.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing and managing a portfolio of projects and team of project managers
  • Directly project manage work streams to ensure timely execution and quality of projects
  • Key contributor in creating and implementing a culture and process of continuous improvement to the Business Execution Team
  • Research and identify addressable improvement opportunities within Commercial Real Estate
  • Synthesize information and prepare presentation materials to be shared with senior management, functional groups and other relevant stakeholders
  • Partner with subject matter experts and business partners to prioritize, drive and execute system enhancements
  • Assist with the development, implementation and execution of key monthly reports to be presented to senior managers within the Commercial Bank and across the firm
  • Track and clearly communicate the status of all work in progress

  • Highly effective, developmentally focused experienced manager of project managers who has a pragmatic and business focused approach to project management
  • Ability to be strategic and translate strategy into tactical operational plans and execute on those plans
  • Demonstrated track record of high quality execution
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data to develop and communicate strategic recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Strong problem solver
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize issues and effectively to handle and manage multiple priorities
  • Able to be proactive in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure
  • Able to quickly and effectively respond to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests
  • Team player capable of working collaboratively, building and keeping consensus, and developing strong partnerships
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience project management and or process improvement
  • Knowledge of Commercial Term Lending or Commercial Real Estate preferred
  • Project management certification or process improvement/Six Sigma is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is required

The final officer title and job grade is at the discretion of the firm and will be discussed at the time of offer.  It may be different than what is listed on the requisition based on candidate experience level.
