Job description
The Product Manager reports to the Head of Strategic Programs and is responsible for developing and executing the overall roadmap for a suite of client facing digital applications. This role calls for an entrepreneurial and innovative PM with a track record of working with teams of engineers and designers to develop successful applications, following lean best practices in an agile framework. This position is full time and based at our New York office.
 
Responsibilities
  • Understand J.P. Morgan’s brand strategy, competitive assets, and market position to deliver products that are recognized as best in class in the Asset Management industry
  • Partner with multiple stakeholder groups to develop content, process and functionality requirements and prioritize them in line with the business’s overall product strategy
  • Translate requirements and specifications for new features into user stories and associated acceptance criteria, and partner with design and engineering to follow through to execution
  • Participate in sprint planning and other agile ceremonies to help lead technical development
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and track product KPIs and evaluate business impact over time
  • Develop an expert understanding of the competitive landscape and keep up to date on industry news and the financial tools ecosystem
  • 4+ or more years of product management and / or business analysis
  • Experience with agile software development frameworks
  • Experience performing hands-on prototyping and sketching a plus
