J.P. Morgan Intelligent Digital Solutions (IDS) is a division of J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management (AWM).  AWM is one of the largest asset and wealth mangers in the world, with client assets of $2.7 trillion and assets under management of $1.9 trillion (Assets as of Sept. 30, 2017).
IDS was created in October of 2017 to drive a unified digital and data analytics strategy to improve clients’ investment experience. IDS creates compelling digital interfaces for J.P. Morgan Chase’s asset and wealth management businesses, as well as self-directed investment offerings, including online brokerage and digital advisory. In addition, IDS’ Data and Analytics team explores how the firm’s and external data can be used to identify investment opportunities, improve client engagement, and reduce operational risk.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced marketing and communications executive to help develop the marketing strategy for our digital wealth management offering, and lead IDS’ PR effort. This individual will be responsible for interfacing with our marketing partners in the Chase Consumer Bank and Asset & Wealth Management to develop marketing campaigns, and for communicating externally as we bring new products and capabilities to market.  They will also help develop the internal and external brand for our Data & Analytics team by proactively exploring and managing PR opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across the firm (Chase Bank and Asset & Wealth Management) and external vendors to develop the brand, marketing strategy, and campaigns for our digital wealth management offering
  • Devise and execute media strategies and opportunities that position the firm’s digital wealth management offering as a best-in-class investment solution; create key messages, draft press releases, Q&As and other relevant materials
  • Manage and implement a strategic media relations program for IDS’ Data & Analytics team
  • Significant prior experience in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related fields, preferably in financial service
  • Strong relationships with the business media and if possible, relevant publications to the IDS team
  • Used to managing internal client relationships, can win trust and build respect at all levels
  • Used to devising, implementing and leading media strategies tailored to specific businesses
  • Knowledge and experience of financial markets, financial services, data & analytics, and digital wealth management
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to partner with internal stakeholders and members of the firm
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations
  • A “can-do”, positive and engaging attitude, but consultative in approach
