Job Description:
JPMorgan Chase is seeking talented candidates for a role in our Business Banking Strategy and Business Development team to work on transforming small business digital solutions. The successful candidate for this role will work with a team focused on the transformation of small business account origination from a customer experience, process re-engineering, and strategic execution standpoint.
 
The role will be responsible for leading significant pieces of the following activities:
  • Working across functions and teams to design customer experience, process, and strategic transformation of account origination for small business
  • Defining the roadmap for execution (including key test segments, minimal viable product, technology requirements, etc.) and innovation strategy using fact-based analyses/research
  • Providing thought leadership for rapid prototyping of changes for broader market launch
  • Determining integration points with existing business products / processes for similar offerings
  • Leading cross-functional work streams such as legal and risk and driving results across lines of business including Business Banking, Merchant, Card, and Consumer
  • Manage partner engagement and communicating updates to senior management and key external stakeholders

Key areas of responsibility  
  • Help lead end-to-end product development/innovation
  • Take leadership role in developing and executing against strategy and product/pilot roadmap
  • Independently structure own work tasks and work collaboratively with partners (internal and external) to move forward
  • Proactively identify and own issues/resolutions end-to-end
  • Influence working teams and advise senior management on key decision points (using strong fact-based data points)
  • Ability to structure and conduct quantitative analytics leveraging large data sets and Excel
  • Ability to perform qualitative competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources
  • Develop and contribute to concise communication materials for senior management; strong verbal and written communications and story-telling / deck-writing skills required
  • Ensure work aligns to the overall project objectives and JPMC strategic priorities
  • Extensive experience in managing programs and projects through all phases of the life cycle and expert working knowledge of an industry recognized Project Management methodology
  • Prefer candidates with knowledge of industry standard project management tools for financial and project reporting. (i.e. Clarity, Beeline, etc.)
  • Prior experience in financial services industry preferred; previous product management/development, consulting, or strategy experience preferred; minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Diverse problem solving experience, such as experience with a top management consulting firm or in internal strategy groups or related functions preferred
  • Demonstrated strong ability to analyze problems, quantitative analytics against large data sets, communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written), and demonstrated influencing skills to work in cross-functional teams
  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, strong work ethic, proactively setting and achieving challenging goals, ability to work independently, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers; eagerness to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly dynamic environment
  • Must have excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools  
  • Bachelor’s degree required with strong academic background
