Job Summary:

 

The Core Analytics Implementation and Execution team within Wholesale Credit Quantitative Research is looking for a product manager who will play a central role in the design, execution, coordination and planning of the variety of analytics projects that the team works on. The team focuses on the design, implementation, delivery and support of models for the firms Wholesale Credit Stress (CCAR, ICAAP, Risk Appetite) and Loan loss reserves models. It works closely with technology and the business to execute on these projects as well as on the strategic buildout of next generation risk valuation platform. The role will require the successful candidate to be hands-on and be eager to drill into details of various aspects of the analytics development chain. The role will involve donning multiple hats – product definition and development, business analysis, coordinator, communicator and planning. The successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable with and wants to work with the implementation and execution of analytics. She/He will play a key central role within the team as well as interacting with partner QR teams, project management, technology and the group’s business partners.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop an understanding of analytics flows, development flows and the various components that are used for the groups analytics. Be part of designing and proposing improvements.
  • Work on business analysis and product definition and produce documentation as needed.
  • Help work on developing and planning the teams roadmap and strategy.
  • Develop end to end plans with the team and help coordinate on those plans with QR’s project management team.
  • Help execute on projects, getting involved with technical details of the project alongside the team.

Develop an understanding of project interdependencies and be a facilitator between multiple teams to achieve execution. Be the glue that binds and leads to successful execution.

Skills, experience, and qualifications:
 
  • Bachelors of Masters degree in Finance/Business/Computer Science/Financial engineering
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in product, business analysis and/or project management
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organization and presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and not be afraid to jump into details
  • Be able to throttle between being detail-oriented and the big picture.
  • Must be self-motivated, pro-active, responsible, take ownership and be driven to deliver.
  • Exposure to Wholesale Credit CCAR, Allowance methodology (IFRS 9/CECL), Basel II and III regulatory capital
  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners to achieve objectives and prioritizations
  • Intellectually curious, adaptable and flexible team player who works well under pressures/tight timelines.
Proficient with one or more of MS PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, MS Project and SharePoint
