Client Intelligence (CI) is a team that supports the global Sales, Marketing and Research organization using CRM and MIS tools across the Corporate & Investment Bank.  This involves a wide range of data across multiple systems and disciplines (trade, revenue, deal, profitability, clients, contacts, etc.).


The Client Intelligence APAC Product Manager will drive various toolsets through the software development life cycle (SDLC), and build strong relationship across lines of business and functions in CIB. The CRM platform is used by approximately 3,000 salespeople and research analysts globally.


As the CI APAC Product Manager you will…

  • Manage Client Intelligence suite of applications through SDLC

  • Lead the APAC Product team

  • Be the CI point of contact for senior APAC stakeholders including Sales, Research & Business Management

  • Manage APAC stakeholder relationships and expectations on the CI agenda

  • Collaborate with the global Product and Technology teams in solutioning and prioritization

  • Develop and execute our product roadmap

  • Foster user feedback loop and drive new idea generation

  • Perform analysis on existing capabilities of CI toolsets and identify priority gaps and opportunities

  • Produce requirements documentation that translates business requirements into functional specification for development teams

  • Provide prioritization, context and direction to Technology teams

  • Manage the JIRA process and run the daily scrum calls across product and development teams

  • Work closely with UX (user experience) on design of new features and components

  • Conduct SIT and UAT testing ahead of application release

  • Handle user support inquiries on the CRM suite of tools

  • Promote CI suite of applications and drive user adoption


To excel in this role you must have prior experience partnering with the front office. Proven abilities in senior stakeholder management, structured problem solving, and superior written and spoken communication skills are required. You should have demonstrable prior experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, IT Consultant, or related occupation within a Financial Services environment.

In addition, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or related field of study

  • Financial markets knowledge, spanning both Equity and FICC products

  • Experience working in a global virtual team environment

  • Experience working on Agile methodology

  • Strong work ethic, self-starter who is creative with a ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Ability to work independently given the majority of the team is in India, New York and London

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation at appropriate junctures

  • Quick learner with strong attention to detail

  • High-level of proficiency in MS-Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)

  • Familiarity with front and back-end technology and digital intricacies

  • Proficiency in SQL is a plus

  • Team player comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting-style, unstructured environment

  • Professional maturity, personal integrity and polished interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in an Asian language is a plus
