Treasury and CIO (TCIO) main responsibilities include managing regional liquidity reporting, its operational control environment and analysis.  The group is also involved in projects, including those related to enhancing the Liquidity Risk Infrastructure platform and conducting strategic analysis.
The opportunity is to join the TCIO EMEA Liquidity control team and be responsible for all analytics and financial/regulatory reporting aspects of TCIO EMEA's liquidity reporting. This position also supports the automation and improvement of existing processes to achieve global consistency, with substantial development work on the firm wide LRI (Liquidity Reporting Infrastructure) tool.
Key Responsibilities
Daily reporting of collateral under the control of TCIO EMEA; intermediates with front office, middle office and other finance personnel as necessary to ensure for the timely, accurate and well-controlled completion of such responsibilities.
  • Work with technology to automate and streamline reporting requirements increasing efficiencies.
  • Build strong working relationships with the multiple LOB’s and areas of the group.
  • LRI project – working on a firm wide liquidity reporting tool, involvement of UAT testing and resolving issues to help build effective controls and processes.
  • Responsible for Monthly and Quarterly regulatory liquidity reporting.
  • Understand the intricate movement of collateral through LOB’s and treasury and meeting Regulatory requirements.
  • Understand US LCR and Fed 5G requirements and implementation of handbook rules and constraints.
Knowledge of the following products is an advantage:
  • AFS Securities
  • Money Markets Taking and Placings
  • Repos and Reverse Repos
Skill-set Requirements:
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Highly numerate with a methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, organisation and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently using initiative and ability to manage your own work.
Experience / Education Required:
Educated to degree level
Qualified accountant preferred (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Good technical skills in software such as MS Excel and Access.
