Job Description:
The CCB Learning Regulatory Training team delivers learning solutions for compliance and regulatory required training across the Consumer and Community Bank, which is includes: Consumer and Business Banking, Home Lending, Auto, Card, Merchant Services, Marketing, Communications, Technology, Operations, Digital and Controls. The team partners with Compliance and line of business course owners to deliver training on high risk behaviors, company policies, internal requirements, and regulatory commitments.
The Learning and Development Specialist IV will be primarily responsible for managing larger, more complex training projects, including the design and development of digital content. The individual will bring broad Human Resource and Learning & Development experience, in addition to consulting, project management, and analytical skills to deliver compliance and regulatory required initiatives. The position requires a self-motivated person with a high level of initiative, detailed and thorough planning skills, strong technical skills, and a strong desire to be part of a dynamic and innovative team environment.    
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end project management, including analyze, design, write, develop and deploy training in partnership with Compliance, Controls, Course Owners/Sponsors, Subject Matter Experts, line of business contacts, and Learning peers
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage project timelines with stakeholders and Learning peers to ensure key milestones and established deployment dates are met
  • Influence content and design innovative training that is relevant to the target audience and consistent with adult learning theory and digital design principles to effectively convey key information and achieve learning objectives
  • Develop solutions efficiently with focus on speed to market
  • Display customer obsession by building strong relationships with the client and project team
  • Maintain working knowledge of training industry trends, including innovation, digital learning and new delivery modalities 
  • MBA or master degree in HR, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, business or similar educational experience (preferred)
  • 5 – 7 years experience analyzing business needs, designing, developing and evaluating training (strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in Compliance, Audit, Risk, or Controls (strongly preferred)
  • 7+ years experience leading large, complex projects (strongly preferred)
  • Experience coaching, developing and/or mentoring people (preferred)
  • Strong judgement, execution and decision making skills
  • Initiative, results oriented – maintains a sense of urgency, follows up and meets deadlines
  • Executive presence and ability to influence across organizational levels and lines of business
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities – large capacity
  • Team-oriented, actively participating to foster a positive work environment with peers
