Global Compliance Practices (GCP) plays a critical role in the successful execution of the firm's compliance mission.  The Compliance function ensures the development and maintenance of a strong compliance culture by developing and maintaining program infrastructure that identifies, measures and monitors compliance with applicable laws, regulations and rules that govern our business globally. Compliance teams work closely with business, legal, risk, and audit functions to provide expertise on regulatory compliance matters, assess and measure compliance and related risks, and monitor and test the adequacy of the firm's compliance control environment.


One of the programs within GCP is the end-to-end management of Legal and Regulatory Obligations that are relevant to the Compliance function. This includes the identification, evaluation, analysis, and mapping of Obligations.


The Senior Associate Project / Program Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of large scale initiatives within the GCP group. This includes the management of program scope, timeline, deliverables, and dependencies; issue identification and escalation; risk management; communications to program teams and senior/executive management; and metrics reporting.


Responsibilities (included but are not limited to the following):

  • Manage project scope, agreements, risks and project plan  
  • Track progress of deliverables, evaluate quality of tasks and deliverables, and manage issue resolution and risk mitigation as necessary
  • Track, reconcile and action key data points from Firmwide database and Compliance stakeholders to ensure accuracy
  • Provide comprehensive status reporting of project progress, issues, risks and deliverables
  • Ensure quality of all project deliverables through active participation in deliverable reviews, checkpoints, tollgates and quality assessments/metrics during project phases
  • Ensure effective and rigorous change control mechanisms are used and scope changes are escalated and resolved appropriately
  • Develop and maintain  procedures and process flows

  • College degree, specializing in Business, Technology, Operations, Computer Science, , or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years project / program management experience
  • Ability to network with internal stakeholders to foster positive and proactive approach to resource prioritization and deployment
  • Superior written/verbal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office skills, including Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, and Visio
