Corporate Function Overview
 
Global Supplier Services brings together Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, and Accounts Payable into one team. This group of more than 800 employees manages the source-to-pay processes for JPMorgan Chase and provides a governance model which includes strong risk management practices, enhanced performance monitoring, greater scale and strong client engagement.
 
Position Summary
The position is responsible for the GSS control environment, including issue identification, escalation, remediation and validation; reporting, metrics and root cause analysis; and partnering with Operational Risk, Compliance and Audit. The position requires experience and knowledge of risk and control methodology, issue management life cycle, and governance and reporting.  The position also requires familiarity with some or all of the following areas: Third Party Oversight, Sourcing or Procurement Operations.  The individual must have good communication and organization skills to work within a global team. 
 
The position reports into the GSS Oversight and Control team and is based in Jersey City, NJ.
 
 
  • At least 5 years financial services experience
  • Experience in risk and control practices and self-assessment control evaluation
  • Business knowledge of source-to-pay processes
  • Sound analytical skills, business judgment and problem solving and decision making capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize based on risk and simplify complex processes
  • Effective communicator; ability to articulate concise summaries of situations
  • Strong team player; collaborative and adaptable
  • Proactive with ability to perform in a changing environment
  • Strong organization skills to multi task in a global environment
  • Experience in PitchPro/PowerPoint and Excel
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other quantitative discipline
