Reporting to the Regional Director, the Region Operating Lead is responsible for driving the development and execution of key priorities that will ensure a strong control and operating environment, i.e. audit and control best practices, support branch consolidations and New Builds with real estate and facilities, access / adoption initiatives etc.
Job Description:
  • Identify and implement best practices and process improvements that will ensure a strong control and operating environment for the region
  • Builds and leverages relationships with internal operations partners to enhance branch effectiveness across the region and understand themes / opportunities
  • Liaise with Control teams on P&P changes and enhancements to ensure communication and implementation within the region
  • Serve as subject matter expert on control and operational procedures and acts as an escalation point for Market Directors
  • Partner with Market Directors and Real Estate team on activities such as coordination of consolidations, new branch builds, ADA initiatives, drive-up changes, etc.
  • Promotes a strong control environment by engaging partners, i.e. Branch Review and Branch Controls Support, Compliance to understand regional and national trends and opportunities
  • Inspects integrity and effectiveness of operational processes , i.e. ICSC completion
  • 10+ years proven experience coaching and managing people and projects in a consumer-focused environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner with other areas of Consumer Banking, Wealth Management & Controls
  • High degree of branch operations, controls and technology acumen
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
