About GTI and the Client Delivery team
 
Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the Firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner.
 
The Client Delivery team within GTI works in the project execution phase of standardization.
The team engages directly with application development, infrastructure build teams and lead program managers to help prioritize and deliver some of the organization´s key projects.
 
About the role
 
As an Infrastructure Delivery lead, you will be accountable for the delivery of infrastructure projects of various dimensions and complexities. You will be the escalation point for Program and Project Managers in need of assistance prioritizing their projects, addressing problems, circumnavigate obstacles, and deliver key milestones within tight deadlines crucial for the organization.
You will be working in partnership with the architects, technical teams and PMs to provide GTI product and services that help to address both business challenges and opportunities.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partnering with respective line of business to understand approved and funding technology Book of Work (BOW), project prioritization, and demand/forecast for GTI Services in order to provide oversight of “end-to-end” delivery
  • Partnering with Solution Architects, Business Application Development teams and Infrastructure program managers to understand functional requirements of a given project/application
  • Provide “end-to-end” oversight of the execution phase of technical solution provided by Solution Architecture teams to meet the business/application requirements using standard GTI Services
  • Partnering with internal GTI experts from the Service Teams to fulfill Expedited Build Request and/or other business priority projects, especially Critical Application Framework (CAF) initiatives
  • Accountable for Infrastructure Deployment: 1) Analysis and coordination (includes: OS provisioning, Database/Web server builds, Change Management); 2) Oversight and adherence of Service Level Objectives 3) Management communication, and 4) Relationship management
     
     
  • Research, follow-up and resolve client escalations/critical issues and inquiries through effective interaction with clients, engineers, project managers and other staff in a timely and professional manner
  • Attendance in multiple project meetings both complex and critical to business
  • Based on voice of customer feedback, analyze participate in order/build tools development
  • Maintaining an effective technical network across GTI, knowing the “Go-To” SMEs in multiple service areas and build teams i.e. Compute, Storage
  • Subject matter expert for Infrastructure Delivery build processes & tools
  • Responsible for coaching/mentoring team members

Qualifications:
  • College degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Client Delivery Service experience preferred
     
    Skills/Attributes required for this role:
  • Effective Project and Program Management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Project), general comfort level with Internet/Intranet usage and ability to learn proprietary software and databases (TAMS, Prime, EURC, MyCompute)
  • Proven experience working within a large global organization, culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams
  • Experience troubleshooting at the program/project level
  • Technical credibility from knowledge/understanding of some of the most challenging requirements
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions about complex issues and solutions
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and provide leadership when needed
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment
  • Experience working closely with application architects and infrastructure managers
  • Self-starter, motivated – takes accountability for a major initiative
  • Effective influencing skills, with groups not directly working for you
  • Excellent English and Spanish communication skills, both written and oral
     
Key Differentiators for Ideal candidate:
  • Experience working through a project management lifecycle methodology from start to finish. Agile development methodologies a plus
  • Ideal candidate will be passionate about client service and will use communication and relationship management skills to ensure an exceptional level of client satisfaction
