Job Description:
The candidate will be member of the Collections, Recovery and Auto Operations Finance team. The team serves as a planning and analytical resource to help executives manage, forecast, plan and gain insight into the financial profitability of the business.
The Operations Financial Associate will support Collections and Recovery organization. This includes supporting the monthly, quarterly, mid-year and annual budget / forecast process, coordinating activities and reporting with P&A teams within Operations and also the LOB specific P&A teams, month end close process and monthly reporting cycle for the functional areas. The Associate will also drive a range of strategic analysis and projects in support of the functional area.
The Senior Associate will:                                    
  • Support the annual/monthly financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis to help the Senior Operations Manager, Finance Manager & CFO better understand operational results and impacts.
  • Proactively analyze trends, research issues and respond to inquiries.
  • Develop financial and other models to analyze/predict results.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and forecasting.
  • Work closely with LOB P&A teams as well as the Operations P&A team.
  • Act as a financial liaison between Operations and the finance organization.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis using SAP, MIS data and Essbase
  • Bachelors in Finance/Economics/Accounting or other related majors
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant financial/analytical experience including management consulting
  • Strong quantitative, critical thinking and analytic skills, confidence with finance and accounting concepts, ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based
  • Advanced skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Hyperion Essbase
  • No relocation assistance
