The evolution of banking production management, in particular over the past 12 months, has resulted in a number of highly strategic initiatives. These include service management and effort tracking, failover and SR expansion, automation, process redesign, upskilling, adopting DevOps, standardization of operational practices, adoption of new tools such as Splunk and most recently piloting Site Reliability Engineering.
Given the breadth of these initiatives, a program manager role has been created to partner with the head of banking production management in overseeing these projects, centralizing status and communication of key initiatives and working across production management and banking technology.
The right candidate will understand the firm, the direction of technology, ideally have experience within very large scale transaction processing and trade and will be a highly experienced, effective and organized at owning and managing a large number of complex initiatives.
In addition to managing initiatives, the candidate will have experience in creating business cases and analyzing large quantities of data to determine effectiveness and success criteria.
The candidate will also have a proven track record of creating and maintaining successful partnerships across multiple stakeholders and partners, leveraging a wide network to drive initiatives to completion.
