About the Technology for Social Good, Diversity and Inclusion Team:

Technology for Social Good, Diversity & Inclusion (T4SGD&I) focuses on creating an environment across Global Technology that welcomes and celebrates diverse talent that are committed to giving back to the communities in which we live and work, while fostering a strong sense of inclusion in the daily workplace. TFSGD&I initiatives target all Global Technology staff. The programs serve strategic locations across the globe and partner with HR, Recruiting, Corporate Responsibility, Marketing, Internal and External Communications, and Training.

 

Role Overview:

This Force for Good Program Manager will oversee a portfolio of Technology Pro Bono projects across Asia Pacific with a primary focus on India based projects. Force for Good is an 8 month development program that aligns teams of JPMC technologists with socially focused organizations to build sustainable software solutions to advance the organization’s missions.
 
In the Force for Good Program Manager role, the candidate will manage a portfolio of 20 to 30 technology projects and work closely with the internal partners and senior stakeholders in the following areas: Global Technology Organization, Global Technology Recruitment and Training teams, Global Philanthropy/Foundation, Marketing and Communications teams. The candidate will also have an external facing role of working closely with non-profits and social enterprises.
 
Activities
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and execute pro bono technology projects across covered markets.  
  • Identify, recruit and manage non-profit clients; working to source appropriately scoped projects and manage the relationships through our programs
  • Sourcing volunteers and aligning them to projects of interest within their local markets
  • Develop and implement a communications plan to attract, engage and celebrate participants in our programs
  • Continuous monitoring of projects through analytics and check ins, tracking of key performance indicators and providing reporting on the overall health of the portfolio
  • Execution of kick-off events, mid-point events and showcase events for each program cycle in each covered market
  • Hosting webinars and in person trainings and either running them directly or soliciting internal subject matters to drive them
  • Backfill of attrition on projects and monitoring all projects to ensure they are adequately staffed with the right number of people and mixture of skills
  • Monitoring and escalation of project status and projects that might be at risk
  • Provide updates to executive sponsors in covered markets and to global team
  • Capture and document success stories to be shared internally and externally
  • Manage coordination between workstream owners across all covered markets and functional roles (Recruiting, Marketing, Philanthropy, Conference and Facility Services, Business Leads, Internal Business Units and Technology Participants)
  • Develop delivery calendar and training content – partnered with internal JPMC SMEs - relevant to program objectives
  • Maintain strong relationships with Risk, Legal & Compliance to ensure that program risks are mitigated surrounding employee engagement and partnerships with participating organizations from a reputational, operational and technology perspective; conduct partner due diligence
  • Travel across the three Hubs in India for mid cycle and showcase events
  • Proven track record of success with project and/or program management
  • Strong Influencer, with excellent intrapersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfort with public speaking, leading webinars, large conference calls and comfortable being in front of and presenting to large audiences
  • Previous experience managing a team of globally distributed individuals
  • Technology experience (either in App Dev, Business Analysis, Infrastructure or Quality Assurance) is strongly preferred
  • Experience in either Agile Development or Cloud Adoption is preferred
  • Clear understanding of Risk, Controls and Compliance constructs and prior experience in a controlled environment is preferred
  • Ability to leverage existing or quickly develop new networks of internal and external stakeholders to drive programs
  • Passion for non-profits and the social good sector, previous experience not a requirement but is preferred
  • Strategic as well as detail oriented, hands on
  • Ability to juggle multiple activity streams
  • Flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Able to work autonomously, as well as a collaborate in a global matrix managed organization
