JPMorgan Wealth Management Operations supports the JPMorgan Private Bank in JP Morgan’s Wealth Management line of business. The Private Bank is the world’s premier service provider for ultra and high net worth individuals.  Our goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations.  JPMorgan Wealth Management Operations provides end-to-end support for all aspects of the client experience, working closely with client service, fiduciary, product specialty groups, third party vendors and other internal groups.
 
Position Summary
As an Escheatment Analyst, you will be responsible for governing various aspects of the abandoned property process. This entails working across the Wealth Management business to review due diligence effort to contact clients, monitoring property deemed abandoned, and escheating to various states in a timely manner. The position requires strong communications and interpersonal skills. Additionally, strong time management and organizational skills are essential to success in this role, as well as the ability to identify the need to escalate when appropriate.
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Enforcing state statutes for dormant client property including cash, outstanding checks, securities and real property working with Corporate Escheatment
  • Ensuring changes to state statutes are applied to application used to support the process effectively
  • Identify and research missing or incomplete data
  • Liaise with various departments
  • Testing technology changes/enhancements
  • Able to meet deadlines imposed by states
  • Manage hotline
  • Log client responses and action each response to completion
  • Account monitoring and balancing

 

 
  • A.S. / B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Cash operations and securities experience preferred
  • Experience in risk management or other roles with coordination responsibilities across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Detail oriented and committed to consistent quality
  • Excellent computer skills: MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Able to operate with minimal oversight
  • Possesses a risk and control mindset
