Position Summary


The Role will be to directly supervise the credit monitoring team that is responsible for performing financial covenant calculations as well as review of loan agreement compliance.
The successful candidate will have loan origination/credit process experience, relevant operations management experience, focused attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a positive service-oriented attitude.
  • Regularly liaise with US and India counterparts and stakeholders on all process, capacity and operations issues 
  • Manage, coordinate and direct the daily operations of a unit of ten or more staff members, assigning their work and setting workflow priorities, introducing them to new procedures and tracking their performance
  • Handle exception items, resolve complex issues, review and recommend system modifications and monitor daily business and quality review of input., including employee time and attendance management, employee development, team performance management and tracking
  • Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork, is dependable and adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Accepts other duties, tasks and projects as assigned

In this position, the Lead will also recommend human resources actions (hiring, terminations, salary actions and promotions), coordinate with management and team to resolve problems and work on special projects

  • Proven track record of driving performance and working with cross functional teams
  • At least 3 years of relevant people management and operations management experience in a banking or financial services industry.
  • Understanding of commercial credit structure, loan documentation, bankruptcy and related issues. 
  • Able to assess and articulate risk associated with requested exceptions to established credit policies and procedures.
  • Strong problem solving skills:  able to analyze and articulate business issues and provide appropriate solutions
  • Finance or Business degree is preferred.
