The global focus on Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) is increasing and leading to new roles and opportunities within JP Morgan. GWM is establishing a market-leading function to help manage the regulatory risks involved in Onboarding clients with special attention to meeting the regulatory AML and KYC requirements. Introduction to Role
The Entitlements Oversight Manager will be responsible to define and drive the strategic and tactical plan related to proper User Entitlements including access enforcement and user provisioning. Key aspects of this role will include:
Ensures that users have only the privileges and exception entitlements they need to perform their job
Drive system requirements related to entitlements; including understanding system toxic pair logic
Detect policy violations and access anomalies outside of the standards
Participate and interface with internal / external auditors

  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel with ability to create high level reports and presentations
     
Responsibilities include:
  • Understand, track and articulate issues/ risks/ action items; work with responsible owners to address the items on a timely basis; update the appropriate audiences as needed
  • Serve as a liaison between Client Onboarding  and partners for projects related to User Entitlements / System Access
  • Establish subject matter expertise and possess end to end product and process knowledge related to our Client Onboarding User Entitlements / System Access
  • Research, understand and document complex business processes 
  • Utilize and leverage strong business knowledge background to help author clear and detailed business requirements
  • Ensures risk controls and compliance to departmental and company-wide standards
  • When required, obtain, author, review, and clarify business requirements with key project stakeholder to ensure project objectives are obtained and successfully implemented
  • Identify and manage interdependencies and validate  User Entitlement needs are met
  • Support all aspects of User Entitlements / System Access including Audit, Compliance Testing and ensure all procedures are clearly documented
  • Understand impacts and ensure future enhancements are looked at holistically and implemented in the most effective way
  • Participate in production release QA and User Acceptance testing
  • Represent the line of business on production support issues, directly participate in issue resolution and socialize for appropriate approvals
  • Management reporting – oversee ongoing reporting of key issues and projects as well as quality, service, efficiency, risk and other metrics
  • Partner with client facing teams to request/collect (and consolidate) required information to meet management, procedural, and/or regulatory requirements
  • Develop subject matter expert on end-to-end Client Onboarding process


 

 

  • Required Skills and Qualifications
    • BS/BA Degree - Accounting, Finance or Business preferred or equivalent military experience
    • Series 99 or equivalent (or take exam within first 120 days)
    • 7 to 10 years of experience with in a financial services, operational or audit/compliance fields
    • 5+ years Program/Project management experience
    • Previous experience with user entitlements and/or system requirements highly preferred
    • Experience in influencing or leading teams in multiple US locations
    • A "can do" attitude is a must with a passion for driving best practices
    • Strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills
    • Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making
    • Strong risk and controls awareness
    • Ability to successfully navigate a complex infrastructure that involves numerous groups and individuals
    • Consultative in approach, understanding and anticipating business partner needs and proactively delivering solutions
    • Demonstrated experience as a key contributing member of a high performing organization
    • Builds a sense of community, creating a positive team environment and modeling a global, diverse mindset and inclusive behavior
    • Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines
