Candidates must have knowledge/experience in the securities marketplace including equity, fixed income, and mutual funds and as well as an understanding of portfolio management and trading processes in support of the JPMS Advisor and Community.

Job Summary

The Trade Support Vice President will be responsible for managing a team of Middle Office professions that serve as a liaison between the user community (including Financial Advisors/Sales teams), Business, Operations, and Technology.  This team supports Financial Advisors that are Portfolio Managers on behalf of their clients; clients are enrolled in Managed Account Programs. The Vice President’s role is to support the Financial Advisor teams, middle office, and operations in support of key trading applications to trade managed accounts, as well as completion of all User Acceptance testing for managed account trading applications in preparation for enhancements and defect resolution.

Responsibilities Include:
• Supporting users in the day-to-day aspects of Portfolio Management Middle Office functions and use of various trading applications.
• Resolving phone and e-mail inquiries regarding trading, data quality issues, application usage, and operations trading items.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries.
• Addressing ad hoc queries from operations, technology, and the front office.
• Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases for defect fixes, enhancements, and other strategic initiatives.
• Facilitating training for all new application users.
• Working with the business, technology, and operations to determine priorities, schedule releases, and write specifications for enhancements.
•Managing and leading a team of analysts.
• Client Service, Brokerage Operations, or Technology background in Wealth Management support.
• Experience in Operational Managed Account/Portfolio Management processes
• Undergraduate degree preferred; concentration in Finance or Business Management a plus.
• 5 plus years of financial industry experience
• Trading, managed and Investment product knowledge.
• Strong client service skills
• In-depth knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and have the ability to execute on assignments independently.
• A team player who demonstrates strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
• Attention to detail with superb written, verbal, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the Line of Business.
• Strong capacity for operating in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking is required.
• Strong leadership skills
