Market Director – Consumer Banking
 
The Market Director – Consumer Banking is responsible for overseeing the business activities and financial results in a designated geographical market made up of approximately 20 branches.  A successful Market Director-Consumer Banking creates a culture of excellence and an environment that delivers an exceptional experience for both customers and employees.
 
Core responsibilities include:
  • Accountable for the overall performance of the market, including deposit and investment balance growth, customer acquisition and retention, and expense management
  • Oversee and maintain a disciplined operational environment to ensure the safeguarding of customers and the business
  • Drive a culture that highly values and delivers an outstanding customer experience
  • Recruit a diverse team, develop employees with ongoing coaching and feedback, and retain top talent
  • Instill an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and able to achieve career growth
  • Conduct meaningful reviews of the business, alongside Branch Managers, to identify opportunities to improve performance
  • Manages the financial results of their market
  • Drive integration with partners from Chase Wealth Management, Business Banking and Mortgage Banking to help customers with specialized financial needs and to grow the business

Qualifications:
  • At least eight years of sales management experience required, coupled with a proven track record of developing and coaching high performance sales teams
  • Experience managing multiple branches or other related management experience
  • Knowledge of financial markets, economic trends, financial planning and customer life cycle
  • BA/BS degree preferred
