Job Description:

The Lending Products, Marketing & Innovation team is focused on creating innovative marketing solutions and differentiated customer experiences for millions of cardmembers across all of our Chase Card portfolios. Our goal is to be at the forefront of innovation in the financial services industry, to bring new products, capabilities, and/or tools to serve our customers’ borrowing needs and drive loyalty in a disciplined way.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing the product and marketing strategy for lending programs/capabilities. To be successful in this role, you must have a customer-first mindset with strong analytical and influencing skills to bring solutions to market that can drive customer engagement and loyalty. You must be able to lead and collaborate across the business, working with various functional partners to identify opportunities to drive profitable lending growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the innovation plan for the business, focusing on identifying competitive gaps for new products and capabilities as well as enhancements to core product features and customer journeys
  • Lead development of new and/or enhanced product and servicing capabilities by defining business requirements and user experience flows
  • Develop deep insights of our “must-win” customer segments in order to develop communication strategies across various marketing touchpoints
  • Must be a champion of customer experience across all user interactions, with a particular focus on delivering a simple, frictionless, digital experience
  • Provide direction to creative agencies and facilitate work through company's creative process
  • Collaborate with functional areas to drive successful and timely project execution
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 7+ years of related product management and customer marketing experience required, preferably in digital payments or lending
  • Proven track record of success managing multiple, complex initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills, with deep understanding of drivers of profitability
  • Experience leveraging consumer research to gather insights and drive design/solutions
  • Excellent team player, with ability to work independently and also lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with external creative agencies and vendors
  • Results-oriented, with strong leadership and communication skills
  • Additionally, this person must be strategic thinker who is comfortable in “white space” and is flexible in pivoting as needed
