 Mobile Planning - Associate
The Chase Mobile team supports initiatives across all the lines of businesses within J.P. Morgan Chase. The group consists of senior business strategists, developers, interactive designers, product experts, infrastructure and architecture specialists, marketers, usability professionals and project support and operations staff that work closely with many lines of businesses (Consumer and Business Banking, Card Services, Private Banking and Home Lending).  Our award-winning mobile applications are some of the most widely downloaded in the country and our goal is to continue building upon that success by delivering innovative, fun, simple and unique experiences to our customers.
Chase Mobile is seeking a highly collaborative and effective Associate to shape and coordinate the Mobile portfolio of projects as a member of the Mobile Planning group. The Mobile Planning group is responsible for defining strategic priorities, developing the mobile roadmap, and exploring innovation opportunities. The Associate will work across JPMorgan Chase to support business units’ mobile initiatives. While formalizing a channel-wide book of work for Mobile, the focus will be on working towards clear definition of Mobile impacts and evaluating the value to JPMorgan Chase customers. The individual will look for synergies and overlaps between existing and proposed mobile initiatives as well as identify optimal sequencing of projects. The Associate will develop a comprehensive view of features/capabilities offered across JPMorgan Chase mobile properties, which will be crucial for running governance forums and influencing the future path of our mobile offerings.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the product pipeline, gaining input from various stakeholders
  • Define the portfolio demand at the project level with a crisp focus on clear project definition and readiness – this requires close collaboration with product and domain teams
  • Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of mobile features, with a mind toward user and business benefits and tradeoffs
  • Develop executive presentations/reporting
  • Communicate effectively with senior leaders to enable collaboration, decision-making, and transparency
  • Serve as internal mobile SME to multiple business units.  The mobile SME will already have strong command over subjects such as: mobile landscape and trends, mobile platforms, mobile customer experience, and emerging mobile technologies
  • Strong ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written)
  • Experience managing large portfolios of projects, governance, and reporting
  • Comfort in dealing with complexity and managing relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong influencing and partnership skills to drive cross-functional and cross-LOB collaboration
  • Executive reporting and
  • Experience through an agile software development lifecycle is a plus (either as a business analyst or project manager)
  • Bachelor’s degree required with strong academic credentials
  • Financial industry and Mobile background is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with the business services and offerings associated with Chase
